Drift: AI Sleep & Meditation ("Drift", "we", "our", "us") is developed and published by AppLab Studio. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: If you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. You may also use the app as a guest without creating an account.

Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage data such as which features you use, session duration, and app performance metrics. This data is not linked to your identity.

Sleep Data: Any sleep scores, streaks, or breathing exercise data you generate is stored locally on your device or in your private account. We do not sell or share this data.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and improve the app experience
To personalize AI sleep coaching recommendations
To track your sleep improvement progress
To fix bugs and improve app stability

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS infrastructure) with encryption in transit and at rest. Sensitive credentials are stored using device-level secure storage (Android Keystore).

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Supabase - Authentication and data storage
RevenueCat - Subscription management
Expo - App updates and notifications

Each service has its own privacy policy. We do not sell your data to any third party.

5. AI Features

Our AI Sleep Coach (Luna) processes your questions to provide sleep advice. Conversations may be sent to our AI provider for processing but are not stored permanently or used to train AI models.

6. Children's Privacy

Drift is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

7. Your Rights

You can:

Delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile screen
Use the app as a guest without providing any personal information
Request a copy of your data by contacting us

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date.
